Who are the gypsies? In search of knowledge about such a rich and mysterious culture, this project sought to combat the stigmatizing stereotypes that unfortunately are widespread in Brazil and around the world.

Among the main recognized ethnic groups are the Rom, the Sinti and the Calon, the latter being the most numerous in Brazil. We seek here to represent the cultural diversity and values of the Romani nation, focusing mainly on the Calons, defying prejudice and collaborating to increase the scarce records of the history of this people.
